Good morning, rainy Monday. Just wanted to let you know that I will not give in to your misery today.

Sure, the humidity will aggravate my physical conditions. Yes, the kids will be grumpy and fight even more than usual. And I know that natural light will be hard to find.

But it’s not gonna work. When you taunt me with your dreariness, I will sing. When you attempt to torment me with my children’s contagious gloom, I will pray for joy. And when you whisper that I should pee for the hundredth time in an hour, I will laugh and say, “must be the coffee.”

Laziness will not take hold, and I will be the supermom I strive to be =)

  1. Sometimes, even in the gloominess, I really like rainy days. They are kind of refreshing. And the sound of rain is really soothing. (-:~Kathryn

  2. Last week it raining for 6 days straight. We were ready to go out of our mind.I'm DYING to read more of your "stuff" so I'm going to start clicking. 🙂

  3. I wish your attitude was contagious because I was just complaining to my kids again that it's supposed to rain for the next few days. It's been nothing but gray clouds and rain here for what seems like an eternity. They're actually having to console me nowadays…LOL!!Thanks for stopping by my blog…hope you'll be back again soon!

  4. Hi KP! Saw that you had signed up to "follow" my blog and wanted to say Hello & thanks! Loved this post…(that moving picture is awesome!) It's funny how we have to fight the gloomies more than usual when it's gray, rainy & dreary. You definitely have the right attitude…praise & humor! They go a long way! Great to "meet" you! Tracy
